Internet Explorer 7 Alert! Valued Clients, As of November 1st, Microsoft will be rolling out Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) as a priority update. This version is drastically different from previous versions of Internet Explorer and has potential compatibility issues with third party applications. At this time, Black | Line Consulting recommends delaying the installation of IE7. Goldmine is not yet compatible with IE7. It is important that Goldmine users do not run this new update. To avoid this update, it is recommended to disable Automatic Updates. It is always safest to manually install updates to make sure that all updates have been properly tested [Download Disable Instructions]. If this is not an option, Microsoft has made available a toolkit to disable the automatic delivery of IE7. This toolkit contains Group Policy Templates that prevent IE7 from being offered as a priority update to the computers on your network.
